Ascent set up and use steps

1. Remove Instrument Tape

After unboxing the Ascent instrument from the packaging, open the door and remove the red tape holding the tube rack platform to the stage. Place the tube rack platform to the side.

2. Plug in and Turn on

Plug in the power to the back of the instrument and turn the switch on. The instrument should light up green, and the screen should power on.

Slide the Apex column rack into the lower slot on the Ascent instrument. It should snap into place along the back panel but ensure that it is fully seated.

Insert the drop catcher into the top position to prevent any drops from contaminating the tubes.

8. Loading Tubes

Load the tubes into the tube rack according to the number of columns being run and the fractions being collected. Ensure that the cap of the tubes is seated properly in the tube rack to avoid any interference with the instrument.

9. Tall Column Rack Install
